The Club

Everything you need to know about Charles Sturt Fencing Club.

Here you can find all the information you need to know about us and what we can offer you as a member. If you have any questions then contact us.

About

Charles Sturt Fencing Club was formed in 2011 when a group of fencers from three different clubs came together to create a new club, featuring South Australia's only permanently established fencing venue.

We aim to cater for fencers and members of all kinds, from beginners to the more experienced, the young and the young at heart, the recreational and the seriously competitive. Whatever level of experience you have, we can accommodate you.

Our members actively compete in competitions at state, national and international competitions. If you're the competitive type then we can support you whatever level you want to compete at.

Facilities

We have four pistes permanently set up for electric fencing, with another six pistes available for non-electric fencing and coaching.

We also have a changing area with six booths for when you want to gear up and an informal recreation area for winding down after a great training session. The recreation area also contains a fridge that is stocked with a variety of cold drinks for purchase.

We currently have some building works under way that will provide us with a separate office and armoury/store rooms. Attached to this will be some basic kitchen facilities for tea and coffee.
